We began in 1987. We obtained knowledge and skills by taking extensive technical classes and becoming certified on communications equipment systems. We are dedicated to operating a successful business and continually work hard to make the business grow in different arenas.

What began as a one-man operation has grown into a company which now has a workforce of twenty employees. In 1995 we expanded by warehousing inventory and moving into the secondary market. The company was shipping equipment across the country. This is when we purchased the name usedphones.com.

We have become a name that is familiar to all. We recieve approximately 200 bids per day on equipment that is being sold across the country. The equipment is either purchased to keep in stock and sold retail or sold to the network of brokers which was established by building customer relations.

Along the way we had many ideas which have been implemented. One was to expand business on the internet. Before the dot.com craze, we knew the internet would be the wave of the future and bought many domain names. Our next goal was to build an e-commerce website. Currently anyone can purchase from our inventory consisting of thousands of parts knowing their transaction is secure.

We thought that if we could collaborate with all the other thousands of interconnects in the country we could generate income from networking. In 2001 the Platinum Referral program was born. The Platinum Customer Program helps not only phone installers by providing income and savings to them, but other customers who are looking for assistance with the installation and maintenance of their phone systems and computer systems. We provide interconnects, technicians, programmers, contractors, and consultants who are paying a monthly fee, endless technical support on our 800 number, a discount on our equipment, access to our library of phone system manuals and leads for phone system sales and new jobs. Since we have a communications website which averages 50,000 unique hits a month We get many calls from around the country from companies who need work on their phone systems. We provide the leads to our platinum customer so they can produce additional income and new clients for their companies. It is a win-win situation for everyone involved.

The repair department holds over 200 complete phones systems to fix almost any type of communications equipment. This enables us the ability to offer low cost phone and phone system repair.  With a fast turn-around time the customer will get their phone or phone system back with the least amount of down time. We repair and refurbishes any phone for $39.95. We also repair Phone Systems, KSU’s, Card’s, Voicemail's, Power Supplies, Paging Equipment, T1, and Transmission Equipment. The cost of fixing equipment other than phones is determined by the problem with the equipment. The repair people contact the customer with the prices before the work is completed.

Currently we are amongst the largest suppliers of used phones, phone systems, and phone system accessories in the nation.  With a vast amount of inventory in stock at any one time, we can offer not only the regular brands sought, but also the hard to find products as well. We buy and sell large quantities of phones, phone systems, and phone equipment including central office, long distance switching, PBX, key systems, data equipment and all high bandwidth internet equipment.

LOCATION

The company is located in Simi Valley, California. It is housed in a 10,000 square foot building.

WARRANTY

All used products are warranted for 6 months. The Customer is offered an option to purchase the Lifetime Warranty for 25% of the cost of the equipment. New equipment sales are warranted by the manufacturer for two years.
